As long as this is configurable by list since I use custom order for shopping lists for picking things through the store in the order I walk through the store.

I often find my tasks appear in odd order after adding or editing them. Having an auto‑sorting option (by due date, priority, or custom rule) would save me from manually dragging tasks around.
