Certain tasks are ok to automatically roll over to the next day without user-intervention. Make this an option on the individual task.
due date for a task is good, but it makes me wait for the due date to schedule it do date can help me see all tasks by do date and plan the day
On desktop/web, I frequently find myself hunting for buttons. Let me define my own keyboard shortcuts or macros (e.g. “Shift+Alt+T = new task”) to speed up workflow.
Many have asked for this; a place to elaborate on the habit and maybe keep a manual log of notes
As described, allow for basic table markup. If you want to do it in GUI mode, look at how the intuitive tables in onenote work.
After choosing the available group option, I still want to sort by more than 1 option. Right now, if I group by tag, and then sort by priority, it groups and sorts that, but I want a final sort by either date or title depending on context.
Allow customization of the user interface
At a minimum, conditional colors for tasks based on rules. Similar to how excel or outlook handles it.
Also need the ability to use a category more than once. I want only high priority tasks not dated and in particular lists or all tasks that are due today or before. Can't currently do that with current limitations.
Sometimes reminders or notifications trigger on one device but fail to appear (or appear late) on another. I want more reliable, near-instant synchronization of reminders across all my devices.
Make it configurable for those that like current behavior.
The view should not make Sunday anchor on the left when using more than 6 days. It should just behave exactly how it does with 6 days or less and not shift the view around. If I want to see 10 days, and I select today, I want to start on today and see 10 days ahead, otherwise I would use the week view which already does this.
I need to show certain lists with completed below them, in particular shopping lists where I can quickly uncomplete things I repeatedly purchase at the store. My other lists, I don't want to see completed and having to toggle back and forth is a time waster.
On IOS the constant reminders are so frequent it may as well be an alarm. Please let this be configurable, I would use 5mins between reminders which I have done with other tools and I find it is much more effective.
want to be able to import from linear
When writing down tasks, if the title is very long when viewing it on the computer and on the app, it cuts it off. There isn't an option to wrap the text, so that way I can view everything on two lines rather than it cuts off at one.
It takes several taps or clicks to select 'Won't Do' for repeating tasks. So i end up just tapping 'Complete' when the notification comes up because it's faster, even though technically i didn't really do the task.
Super important! I don't want to 'tick off' a recurring task that I've forgotten to configure as repeatable. Otherwise, that important task is lost. If I can see that a task has a repeat schedule I'll know I can safely complete it. The work around for now has been for me to add [r] to the beginning of every recurring task when I add the repeat schedule so I know it is not a 'one off' task.
Perhaps when holding the shift key down or make it configurable after a short period of delay to show the task details, notes, etc.
I often find my tasks appear in odd order after adding or editing them. Having an auto‑sorting option (by due date, priority, or custom rule) would save me from manually dragging tasks around.
